International Seven Tournament in Tandil Argentina February 2012 

The Fernando Varela Seven will run its XXII° Edition in a 2 days tournament for 1st XV teams, and younger categories. 

This is a well known rugby event in our country, where about 30 teams from all over Argentina compete annually in the first division category. It is the only amateur summer tournament played on grass fields.

Since 2011 the tournament became international by the participation of teams from Australia, Chile and Uruguay .

Social events like a fashion show, traditional shows, team functions, evening-outs, parties and more take place in Tandil during the Seven, and all participants join in to have fun.

Tandil is located 400km South from Buenos Aires city (+/- 5 hours drive by coach). It is a small and quiet town compared with the huge and busy capital city. It has beautiful landscapes of hills and valleys, and it is only an hour drive from Mar del Plata seaside summer resort.

As the exclusive Booking and Marketing Agent for overseas countries, we are glad to extend an invitation for a 1st Division Category (+19years old) Team of your country.

The invitation consist in a free package for 12 persons per team, for 4 nights accommodation (February 2^nd to 5^th 2012), all meals included and registration fee for the Seven. Only one team from New Zealand will be granted with this special package on a first come – first served basis. (We have outlined a full inclusive land package consisting on a 9 nights tour, including 5 in Buenos Aires + 4 in Tandil. )
